Join Our Team! Orchestral Booking Manager Opening

Promethean Artists is seeking an Orchestral Booking Manager to work with its exceptional team of world-class artists.

What we do

Promethean Artists is committed to innovating classical music management, bringing it into the 21st century while honoring the past. The core of our philosophy is comprised of three tenets: putting artists first, cultivating mutual trust, and providing unparalleled hospitality. Our uniquely creative approach is built on the foundation of modern business management and combines technology with unparalleled support that addresses the holistic artist. Through individualized services, attention to detail, and supportive encouragement, Promethean Artists is uniquely qualified to champion the modern classical artist.

What you’ll do

As the Orchestral Booking Manager, you’ll be responsible for booking our roster of artists in orchestral engagements worldwide. You will establish global relationships with administrations at orchestras and keep them updated on the activities and success of the artists on the roster. You’ll identify opportunities for artists on the roster to perform orchestral repertoire with orchestras across the world, making valuable connections for both the artists and Promethean. You’ll execute contracts, actively participate in repertoire discussions and make suggestions, follow through on engagement servicing and logistics, and collect post-performance feedback. You’ll be responsible for generating your own daily schedule, and you will work hours that you find most effectively allow you to complete your tasks. You will also work in consultation with the President and CFO in planning a global travel schedule to attend artist performances and take in-person meetings.

What you’ll get

You’ll work remotely as an independent contractor under an uncapped commission structure commensurate with your experience. You’ll receive a generous bonus scheme and an expense budget for work related travel. You’ll work in close consultation with the current Promethean Artists team who will provide mentorship and guidance, have full access to the Overture booking system to track engagements, and have the flexibility to generate your own daily schedule.

What you’ll bring along

You will bring an innovative approach to orchestral booking, aligning with the company’s core values of putting artists first, cultivating mutual trust, and providing unparalleled hospitality. You’ll ideally draw from your diverse experiences in a variety of fields, have a strong appreciation for classical music, and have a desire to learn and try different approaches. A bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred, though not required, as is a conversational understanding of a foreign language.

We believe taking care of people is the right thing to do and operate in the interest of nurturing growth and encouraging talent.
